Our end-of-year fundraising campaign, with a goal to raise $10,000, is set to bring hope and joy to those who need it most during this special time of year.

Raw Potential Canberra has always been dedicated to empowering young people in need, and this campaign is no exception. Our mission to provide a helping hand to homeless youth in Canberra has never been more vital.

A Message from Our Chair, John Miller

Raw Potential Canberra’s Chair, John Miller, shared his thoughts on this year’s campaign. He said, “The holiday season is a time for giving and coming together as a community. It’s also a time when we must remember those who may be less fortunate. Our end-of-year fundraising campaign is a heartfelt effort to spread hope and positivity in the lives of young Canberrans who are experiencing homelessness. With your support, we can make a significant impact and provide them with the help they need to get back on their feet.”

The $10,000 fundraising goal will enable Raw Potential Canberra to provide essential support and resources to young people who are facing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless in the Canberra region. These funds will be used to:

1. Emergency Accommodation: Providing safe and secure temporary housing for those in immediate need.
2. Mental Health Support: Offering counseling services and mental health resources to help young Canberrans cope with their challenges.
3. Education and Training: Facilitating access to education, vocational training, and skill-building programs to empower young people for a brighter future.
4. Essential Supplies: Distributing food, clothing, and personal care items to those experiencing hardship.
5. Peer Support: Establishing peer mentoring programs to create a sense of belonging and community among young people in need.
